what a slick ass design. what would make this better is a friggin warp core.

@intrepidface07 Cockpit is under the top deck. Dont think that they will ever allow self flying planes, pretty much every modern passenger jet can fly itself now a days, but who wants to board a plane like that?

leemenzie November 20, 2011 at 10:22 pm

Its obvious that these transparent self cleaning “interactive” planes will be self flying too.

intrepidface07 November 20, 2011 at 10:41 pm

where. is the cockpit……… was expecting that more this……

lethak November 20, 2011 at 10:48 pm

assuming still flying with kerozen jet…

10 x less expensive and much more interesting+technoLOGICLY dooable if all this gizmos and optic_pleasure conduits can be installed in some massive airship (zeppelin). With some retro-steam touch. Frankly, this transparent model is kinda pain in D eye.Too glowy.

Less money to construct, more pleasure for individuals to pay..less.
Not to mention feasibility of whole endevour avec airships..lets say 2025!?

Bottom line, I bow to Airbus (been flying several times with their A380..delighted, rly)

Yes you are right, future will give more surprises,
and we are getting near to the artificial world,

MortisIlluminare November 20, 2011 at 11:31 pm

It is really interesting – how much technologies shown exist now and how much of them supposed to be developed “we do not know how, but somehow”?
Like orbital lifts, interstellar spaceships, underwaer cities…
But looks good. That’s right.
