@MakBDF
No, I was not aware of that. I knew Christie sold the patent for his tank suspension to the Soviets.
But again, Russian tanks were used against the Germans. Without those tanks, WW2 would have been lost.
@prjerry7 Well, that might be true; but certainly, we have to accept that the high superiority shown by USAF until today is due to USA has only confronted against third world countries which means that all those pilots were not enough prepared to dog fight amercican pilots; even they had had F15′s; I think they wouldn’t be match because of the same reason; and if an F 15 american pilot faced a MIG 29 Russian pilot, perhaps the story would be different; we really can’t tell…
@prjerry7 usa pilots are afraid to try test fight with Russians pilots, and british are the same garbage as usa
@Waltham1892 American engineers and workers in 1930-38 built in Russia all modern steel works and most modern tank and aircraft factories. Money from the american taxpayers. Your people produced on russian territory until 1938 over18,000 tanks BT5/7 and T-26 series, thousends of planes etc . Do not you know that? For instance Germany in 1939 had circa 3,000 tanks only. Not such a big aid ?
@prjerry7 f35 has been owned in simulations by su30&su35.thats why australia decided to buy f18¬ f35.thats whyuk is thinking not to get f35 but rafale
f22 wasshoted down by haf in red flag2008.it participated unofficially.
next year of red flag 2009 indian air force using su30 shoted down f22 again.
f22 is full of failures and u need 35 hours maintenance 4 just 1.5-2 hours of flight.breaks down all the time
usa propaganda has made u believe that f22 is great while its pure shit
We haven’t given the Russian’s all that much. During WW2 we gave them equipment and loans, but we did that for all the allies. In return they put 300+ divisions into the war in Europe. I think the US put in maybe 40 divisions.
Most of Russian technology they developed themselves.
And what good does it do to keep the Russians as permanent enemies? It’s a small planet and no one is going to leave any time soon.
best plane ever
@Waltham1892 Thank you Sir. My english is poor, sorry. But i wonder why USA still supporting Russia since 30-ties , your gov. gave commies all modern tech, nukes etc.
The only smart american guy Gen. George Patton knew what USA should to do, he said:
„Let’s keep our boots polished, bayonets sharpened, and present a picture of force and strength to the Russians. This is the only language that they understand and respect…” But what your Obama-Clinton duet does? what a shame.
@prjerry7 Russian weaponry has failed in every war where it was used against the west because the west attackes small disorganised poorly trained third-world countries…. Do you honestly think what happened in Vietnam, Iraq and Lybia can be used as a benchmark? Butchering small third-world countries might make you feel tough and superior but in reality doesn’t prove a damn thing militarily.
Everything you said is true.
I believe eveyone still takes Russia “seriously”, as you put it, for three reasons.
1. Russia has decided to let its conventional forces wither, at least for the time being, in order to shift funding to its considerable nuclear forces.
2. Russian conventional forces may no longer be superior to, or even equal to, NATO’s or China’s, but Russia is still a formidable regional power.
3. Oil/Natural Gas; Russia is a major exporter to Europe.
@Waltham1892 So tell me major if Russia has a weak 1 small carrier aircraft, notmore than 10 naval fighters Su-33, and as you said, 30-40 multi-role fighter of 4th generation, no AWACS, no airtankers, no amphibious assault ships. Economy as 1/3 or less of Great Britain,poor people, why the U.S. takes seriously Putin’s Russia ? I do not understand, what is the point. Resources ?Just ignore them.
1. Does this aircraft have thrust-vectoring? 2. How does it achieve thermal masking? I see regular turkey-feather exhausts.
It looks like a shinier version of the F-22… except wider…
@prjerry7 “Pentagon has re-affirmed” lol.
@profan123 USA pilots have the most rigirous training in the world, US pilots have more flight hours then any other pilot on earth so…yeah.
British fighters are also awsome, eurofighter is better then anything in service in russia
@profan123
That means the US has 139 5th generation fighters and over 2,400 4th and 4+ generation aircraft.
So you point is, what?
@prjerry7 youv obviously been brainwashed by Usa media. There is not only fighters do matter also solders and pilots, give Raptor to G.W.Bush and you will see the result lol
@Waltham1892 lol USA has only 139 Raptors and 0 F-35, all other fighters are very old like F-15 and F-16 from 1980 and 1977
A love child between the F-22 and YF-23. Throw in that distinctive Sukhoi profile then you get this thing. Looks great nevertheless.
@Waltham1892 su-35bm he enter in 2006 and no have any problem
f-22 is stealth ok but when he enter in fight is stealth but not INVISIBLE !
when pak-fa coming its possible compare but now ………….
@TATARSTAN59500
On a 1:1 basis, given pilots of equal skill, training, and battlefield conditions, you are probably right.
However, given the small number of Su-35′s made (only 8 so far), and that the first 50 won’t be delivered until 2015, and they will not be operational until some time after that, the Su-35 may not become a significant aircraft in the Russian Air Force or on the export market.
The Su-35 may also have the curious distinction of being the last 4+ generation fighter.
@Waltham1892 su-35bm only f-22 have necessary capacity to fight with him
@prjerry7 I don’t know where did you find those numbers but there are wrong: at the end of the war and because American pilots were better trained it was 2.5/1. in US favor. And according to history book 60 000 americans soldiers died. And 4 millions civilians died mostly from US bombs. Obviously you can continue to live in your beautiful americanised world but stop saying stupid things.
Cmon guys we have to stick together for when the aliens attack. mmm tuna sandwich
@Waltham1892 Well this profile was not made by me, that’s not the point. Now do you know that impersonating an officer is a federal offense? No offense intended but I do not believe you were in services at all..If you were actually to check my source you’ll see what I’m talking about but for every good source of info there is a price. Jane’s, for example, known worldwide for their information sources, is a paid service..You seem to be more informed than Pjerry7 and polak guy who just troll here
